About MyPayslip.lk

MyPayslip.lk is an independent, free Sri Lankan salary and payslip reference. It helps employees and payroll reviewers reproduce APIT, EPF, ETF, stamp duty and take-home figures without creating an account or sending salary inputs to a server.

MyPayslip.lk is not affiliated with the Inland Revenue Department, Department of Labour, Central Bank of Sri Lanka or Employees' Trust Fund Board. Official agency pages remain the authority for statutory rules and individual records.

Editorial and calculation standards

Financial guidance is useful only when its inputs, limitations and update process are inspectable. Every maintained calculator and guide follows the same four-step standard.

  1. 01

    Start with primary sources

Statutory figures are checked against the Inland Revenue Department, Central Bank of Sri Lanka, Department of Labour and Employees' Trust Fund Board rather than copied from other calculators.

  2. 02

    Publish the assumptions

The public methodology states the tax year, contribution base, calculation order, rounding behavior and cases that require a different APIT table or professional review.

  3. 03

    Test reproducible examples

Reference salaries are tested in the application and in a separate public implementation. Human-readable pages, the API and machine-readable methodology must agree.

  4. 04

    Date every substantive review

A visible verification date changes only after the cited official sources are checked again. Current rates are distinguished from the year printed on the latest IRD table.

Privacy and scope

Calculator and payslip-generator inputs stay in the browser. Analytics measure page use without attaching salary values, employee names or company names to events.

Results are estimates for checking and planning. They are not tax, legal or payroll advice. Secondary employment, non-resident income, terminal benefits, excluded earnings and unusual payments can require different rules.

Corrections and contact

Calculation or source issues can be reported publicly. Include the affected URL, expected figure, applicable pay period and an official source where possible. Do not include names, NIC numbers, employer records or private payslips.
